BBC One: The Apprentice

The long running series, where entrepreneurs compete for Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment, was in need of a space for their product creation task, specifically for the marketing campaign. Here, contestants had to shoot, edit, and produce branding for an original toy.

The catch for us… we had to strictly go by the team’s direction, with no interjection on our part!

Both teams took advantage of our adjoining studios, where
multiple studio options meant that each group could shoot simultaneously. Combined with The Nest Post
being next door, the contestants Were able to deliver a quick turnaround, from set to post, within a day.
The edits were assembled in our private suites. collaborating with in-house staff, each team created a 30 second video that told the story behind their toys. Animation and graphic design followed to add the finishing touches to their campaigns.

“Animal Squad” and “Slime Kingdom” each presented a unique interpretation of the brief, with some questionable creative choices that ultimately led to an  entertaining segment of the show, where the campaigns were presented to Lord Sugar in the boardroom to both amusement, and frustration.
